About Us
A small family beekeeping operation in Nailsea, North Somerset — started in 2023.
Who We Are
We're a small family beekeeping operation that got started in 2023 after a long-standing curiosity about bees finally got the better of us. We joined the North Somerset Beekeepers Association and made the most of their brilliant training — learning everything we needed to look after our own colonies properly.
It's very much a family effort. With help from those closest to us, we focus on doing things the right way — sustainably, carefully, and always putting the bees first. Our two girls — our very own Bee Buddies — love coming along to help at the hives too.
At the end of each season we extract and jar our honey entirely by hand, giving us full control over quality every step of the way. The beeswax we render from the hives is used to make all of our wax products — so everything we make starts with our bees and stays true to what they produce.
Part of the Community
We're active members of the NSBKA and value the community around us greatly. We volunteer as one of the many trainers at the NSBKA's training apiary, supporting new beekeepers as they find their feet. We also volunteer with the association's swarm collectors — safely catching and rehoming swarms rather than letting them become a problem.
